I have been playing guitar for 5 years but started with piano when I was 9. As a guitarist I have been self-taught but I completed a TEE level music theory course in my final years of school. I’m currently not in a band and focusing mainly on writing and acoustic music as well as heightening my knowledge and improving my skills with plans to attend WAPPA in the coming years.

I can teach all ages and refuse to let up on theory with a huge emphasis on heightening my student’s ability to improvise and compose their own music as I believe a good guitarist is not necessarily the fastest guitarist but one who knows exactly what he and the rest of the band is playing. I also have a large emphasis on timing and feel because as a predominantly acoustic guitarist you need to do more than play what’s in front of you but make it your own.
