Michael Robinson has been a musician for over 60 years. Training as a Percussionist playing Drums, Timpani and Xylophone, he has performed in the Royal Australian Navy Band for twenty years and countless local bands during his career. Michael has over two decades of tutoring experience, having taught percussion at the Royal Australian Navy School of Music in Victoria, as well as Kolbe Catholic College, Rockingham, Warnbro, and Safety Bay Senior High Schools. Since his retirement from the Western Australian Education Department, Michael has continued to perform live with several local bands. As one of Mammoth’s most experienced instructors, Michael Robinson’s vast knowledge of percussion and all music is of great benefit to all of his students.

Rachel studied music through Trinity College London and has a diploma with the Modern School of Music New Zealand. She has been teaching piano and guitar for over 25 years and endeavours to give a well-rounded musical education by incorporating classical, theory, scales and modern methods. Always aiming to motivate her students she seeks to find their listening/playing preferences and weaves these into her lessons. Under the name ‘Freo Busker’, Rachel has been busking around WA (mainly in Fremantle) for the past 14 years whilst releasing two cds.

Alicia is a musician with 17 years of experience teaching guitar and 2 years teaching piano. Playing live music since 1999 in Restaurants, hotels & private functions in N.S.W and in Mandurah, she has a wealth of experience and a passion for performing music. She had 3 years of experience working with children in schools as an Education Assistant, teaching literacy and a music program. Alicia excels at tailoring lessons to each individual student, finding what they most want to achieve in music, aiming to have them playing fluently and finding their own voice. She is particularly partial to improvisation and encourages her students to be creative, versatile and enterprising musicians.

Luke has been playing guitar for 12 years and for 5 years he has taught, his gained a wealth of experience in playing live and in the studio through several different bands. With a passion for all kinds of music from jazz to country Luke has developed his craft through countless hours of practice. Ever since receiving the music scholarship for Kolbe Catholic College Luke focused his time on guitar receiving private lessons from a WAAPA teacher with an emphasis on the blues.
Brittany trained as a singer and dancer from the age of eight which gave her over twelve years of training and fifteen years of performing and competing. She’s wrote multiple songs for herself and other artists and works regularly in the film industry. Some of her proudest achievements so far include supporting Shannon Noll and Ross Wilson. Her track is appearing in an Australian TV show in 2020 and has appeared in multiple Australian films. She won first place in the 2017 Breakthrough Music Competition and the Highest Mark Overall for any Song and Dance solo in the 2008 Kwinana Dance Festival. Brittany is extremely passionate about teaching others how to use their voice and the creative arts to express themselves and pursue a career in the performance industry.
Madeline has a Certificate III in Music and has taught private piano students for the past 5 years. In a family of talented musicians and with a natural teaching ability, she is both patient and caring; catering lessons to ensure her students understand the technical sticking points of playing the piano.

Haydon has been playing guitar for about 15 years across a wide variety of styles including blues, classical, metal and rock. He has performed in a range of scenarios and has a graduate diploma in education. As a teacher, Haydon believes every student is unique with their own musical goals, as such he attempts to tailor his approach and lessons to each student, while also introducing them to new styles of music and relevant musical theory to expand their knowledge of music as an art form.
